This torrent has all the setup files you'll need to connect your Xbox 360 to your PC, enabling you to play some audio files (wma, mp3, wav) and some video files (wmv, avi, divx, mp4) from your pc's hard drive on your Xbox 360. I'm open to correction on the file types played, this is just from my experience. You'll find all the information you need at www.xbox.com
I decided to upload this after having to find these files on the net over and over again afer formatting my hard drive. These files are out there, and are free of course, but this is a handy torrent for anyone who wants them all at once (especially for those people who don't have a legitimate copy of Windows, and therefore can't d/l any of these files from the official Microsoft site! You know who you are! Hopefully Microsoft doesn't!).
This torrent includes:
Netframe 1.1.exe
Netframe 1.1 Service Pack 1.exe
WindowsXPMediaCenter2005-KB900325-usa.exe
XboxMCE05Lite-enu.exe
wmcsetup_en.exe
The above setup files are what you'll need to connect, installing them in that order. Once this is done you will need to download an add-on on your 360, just play one of the video files & you'll be prompted to do so.
I've also included two add-ons for the Media Centre Extender, MCE Weather & MCE Internet Browser. You'll need to do some additional configuration to get the MC Extender working correctly with your Xbox. There's plenty of setup guides on the net, just google it.
Hope this pack is of some help to ya, and good luck setting up, it adds a lot of depth to your Xbox, I now have close to 500 gigs of audio & video available to me with a push of a button! Its only brilliant!!!
Thor.
P.S. As you can see from the first comment below, this setup did not work for one downloader, and where there's one there's more. My apologies to anyone else who did download and was then not able to connect your hardware properly. I've done a bit of searching on the net for a solution to this problem and I've discovered there are many XP Home/Pro users who have encountered this. There's hope though!!!
Check out this page and you'll read about a program called TVersity which is apparently better than Windows Media Connect.

You can find system requirements for TVersity, and find the free download at:

or dowload this torrent:

this will sort out any problems you have if you have Home/Pro. If anyone has any questions you're probably better off not asking me, cos I don't know much more! But if you do need any help just leave a comment, I check in regularly.
